Job Summary

We are looking for a Design Lead with a proven track record of visually expressing brands across multiple mediums, including digital and traditional formats. You’ll both lead and execute all marketing design efforts, including evolving the visual identity of the Apervita brand and creating compelling visual content. As our first marketing design hire, you’ll have the unique opportunity to make your mark on the Apervita brand during this exciting time of growth. This role will report to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Play an ongoing role in the development of Apervita’s visual identity, brand guidelines and design systems, and advocate for the consistent application of design standards across all visual experiences
  • Iterate on the design of the apervita.com website, working closely with a front-end developer to implement designs
  • Design marketing materials including but not limited to digital and print collateral, white papers, presentations, eBooks, infographics, icons, conference and event materials, case studies, digital and print advertisements, internal company materials and more
  • Provide direction and collaborate with external creative agencies or resources as needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other industry standard design tools
  • Significant experience designing Wordpress sites
  • Significant experience with Keynote and Powerpoint
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a range of work, including the marketing materials mentioned above
  • Proven ability to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into images, layouts and other designs
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field of study
  • Minimum 4 years of professional design experience
