Job Summary

As a Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing a range of content types—from white papers and blogs to case studies and website copy—about Apervita, healthcare, and technology topics that help prospects and customers understand how Apervita can transform their business. You'll help to increase awareness of Apervita as a thought leader, and educate audiences about the business and technology issues that drive demand for platform technology. You'll have the opportunity to be a key contributor to Apervita’s content marketing and thought leadership program. This role will report to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Research, write and/or edit marketing content, ranging from technical deliverables to more business-focused content about the future of healthcare
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify key issues that are most important to our prospects and customers and address those issues in content, incorporating SEO strategies
  • Translate complex technical concepts into messages and content for audiences of varying technical levels
  • Partner with external agencies to develop creative content as required

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of articulating highly technical information into easy-to-understand benefits
  • Understanding of SEO, digital communication tools and digital channels
  • Healthcare / B2B technology experience preferred but not required
  • Collaborative approach to projects with an openness to feedback
  • Ability to work well under pressure with limited resources (we’re a startup, after all!)
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years professional communication / content creation experience
